Step by Step guide to install vSphere update manager 6.5

In this topic we will learn about step by guide to installing vSphere Update Manager 6.5
Download the VCenter 6.5 software from https://my.vmware.com/web/vmware/downloads and copy it to local drive and follow the below steps.
Double click on autorun.exe file from the VCenter 6.5 folder and follow the below steps
click the Server option to install the vSphere Update Manager and check the box for Use Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Express as the embedded database and click install to continue.
It will install the Microsoft SQL 2012 express edition as the embedded database, once done follow below steps.









Select English (United States) and click ok to continue.
Click next to continue.

Select I accept the terms in the license agreement and click next to continue.
Check the box for Download updates from default sources immediately after installation and click next to continue.
Provide the server details and provide the username and password and click next to continue.
Leave the port part as it is and click next to continue.

Select the appropriate path to install the vSphere update manager and click next to continue.
Click Install to continue.
Click Finish to continue.

click finish to complete the installation.
